Komori’s package printing presses are produced by Komori-Chambon in France. A lineup of presses fit for all package printing needs, including both offset and gravure, that are equipped with in-line finishing functions and are capable of short runs of many items as well as reduced makeready times and lower startup losses.

Currency printing is undertaken with very advanced counterfeiting prevention techniques. This requires the use of an extremely high level of technology and quality throughout the currency printing process. It is well known that Bank of Japan banknotes are printed exclusively on Komori printing presses.
It is essential that we all work to save our rainforests, and Komori presses now reduce paper waste to a significant new minimum. For example, introducing each new Lithrone S40 into your factory production line provides you with the capability to preserve 600 trees annually!
In recognition of the world importance of conservation, at drupa we are proud to embark on a Komori-inspired campaign for the protection of the rainforest. Fundamental to this is the work by the Rainforest Foundation. The Foundation provides financial support for practical projects run by local organisations and indigenous peoples’ associations. These projects aim to secure forest-peoples’ rights and livelihoods and to protect and sustainably manage tropical rainforests. These projects provide the resources to help local organisations in tropical countries to become self-dependent and, eventually, self-sustaining.
At the show, we are printing limited edition take-away
posters and prints featuring a range of beautiful images
taken in the rainforests by renowned wildlife photographer
Thomas Marent whose publishes his work in support of
the Rainforest Foundation.
Our contribution will, however, extend beyond print and into financial support – and we hope you will join us on the stand in assisting in this exceptional resource-saving cause which is, uniquely, at the very heart of our printing industry.
