Grafitalia was started on May 9th and successfully closed on 13th at Fiera Milano Hall in Milano, Italy.More than 40.000 visitors have been registered, 14% coming from outside of Italy, 15% increase compared to the 2003 edition of GEC. Sequential Exhibitions (Graphitec in Paris, IPEX in Birmingham and Grafitalia) in Spring in Europe have been completed.The figures of the 2006 edition are outstanding: 41.000 sqm divided into 5 pavilions, 950 exhibitors (577 from Italy, 373 from other countries), coming from 33 countries, with a 37% increase in new exhibitors compared to last edition and official buyer delegations coming from Algeria, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Russia, Egypt, Lebanon, Tunisia and Turkey.
Komori held 250 square meter space of Hall 11 and exhibited 5-color LITHRONE S29 press for live printing demonstrations.
That press completed three short-run jobs within 14 minutes in average.Around 400 customers contacted to Komori during Grafitalia. Also Komori Italia cleared their target number to sell presses during Sequential Exhibitions period.
